Mid Hunter Palliative Care Volunteer Service provides volunteers to visit and support people with a life limiting or palliative illness within the Cessnock and Singleton local government areas. We have volunteers from your local area who come from all sections of the community.
To become a volunteer you will need to complete the volunteer application form and undergo our specialised training course. We also require criminal record checks and working with children checks. You will meet with the Co-ordinator to discuss your suitability and availability to commit to volunteering within palliative care.
